Birmingham City boss Steve Bruce was left with a bittersweet taste after his side beat Middlesbrough 2-0 at St Andrews.First half goals from strike duo Clinton Morrison and Emile Heskey kept Blues on the rise in The Premiership.
But Heskey and midfielder David Dunn were forced off in the second half with hamstring injuries and Bruce is uncertain how long the pair will be missing.
"The disappointment of the whole afternoon is that David Dunn has done his hamstring again while it looks like Emile has done his hamstring again," Bruce told Sky Sports 1.
"It's going to cause us problems."
Bruce also felt his side had a slice of good fortune early in the game when Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's deflected shot was disallowed due to Mark Viduka standing in an offside position.
He continued: "You need that luck. Is he offside?
"He's in that grey area that we talk about. In my day he was offside because he was standing in the six-yard box and there he is interfering [with play].
"I can understand that they will be disappointed."
