Muzzy Izzet admits he has endured a season of frustration during his debut campaign at Birmingham City.The Turkey international joined Blues on a free transfer from Leicester City last summer but has been restricted to just ten appearances.
He has not donned a blue shirt since being sent off against Everton in November and has been struggling with a knee injury.
Izzet is now back in full training and could feature for Steve Bruce's side before the end of the season.
But the 30-year-old concedes that his campaign has been a stop-start affair as the midfielder looks to return to action.
He said: "The season feels as if it hasn't even started for me."
