Joe Royle is reportedly keen to sign old boys Jamie Clapham and Tommy Miller.
Ipswich boss Joe Royle is reportedly keen to bring former old boys Jamie Clapham and Tommy Miller back to Portman Road.
Royle is in the market for a left back and midfielder in the summer and both players are believed to be names in the frame.
Clapham, who moved to Birmingham three years ago, has been deemed surplus to requirements since Blues' relegation and is now on the lookout for a new club.
It is thought Ipswich will engage in talks with Clapham in close-season but the experienced 30-year-old is unlikely to be short of suitors elsewhere.
Miller could be another that makes a return to his former employers after a season-long sojourn at Sunderland, where he was part of the squad that failed to cope with top flight expectations.
The industrious midfielder still has a year left on his existing deal but it has been suggested that Sunderland could look to trim their wage bill.
