Brescia have yet to receive an offer for Andrea Caracciolo but admit they would have to consider a major bid.

Birmingham linked with striker

Brescia have yet to receive an offer for reported Birmingham target Andrea Caracciolo but admit they would have to consider a big-money bid. The 29-year-old has provided some rare bright moments in an otherwise disappointing campaign for Brescia, who are currently second bottom of Serie A. Birmingham have been linked with a move for the striker, while Italian rivals Fiorentina are also thought to be chasing his signature. Brescia sporting director Gianluca Nani is keen to keep hold of Caracciolo and maintains that there has yet to be any firm interest. "Andrea isn't moving from Brescia at the moment," Nani told Violanews. "If there is a bid that could not be refused we would have to evaluate the proposal but this is the same for all players.

Full maturity

"But we are not looking to sell him, we are not seeking any offers and so far they have not arrived. "I repeat that Caracciolo will remain at Brescia in January." Caracciolo's agent Andrea D'Amico understands Brescia's position but feels it is perhaps time for the forward to move on and fulfil his potential with a major club. D'Amico told Radio Blu: "Caracciolo is an important player and is in full maturity, in my opinion he deserves a great team. "It's normal that Brescia want an economic satisfaction, but no-one in football is unsellable."
