Birmingham striker a wanted man

Marlon King has emerged as a target for clubs in the Middle East and Turkey, Sky Sports can reveal. The Jamaica international joined Birmingham City last summer after leaving Coventry and he made a big impact at St Andrew's, scoring 16 goals, but his future at the club is in doubt. Birmingham know they are not in a financial position to fend off any major offers and King has now emerged as a target for other clubs. Sky Sports understands a number of Premier League and Championship clubs are looking him. However, it is also understood there is major interest from abroad and King could be tempted to leave England. Clubs in Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates are thought to be amongst the interested parties whilst there is also interest emerging from Turkey.
