Driscoll, along with Chief Executive John Wile, is having a crisis meeting with Little on Monday after a tumultuous week at The Hawthorns which saw star winger Kevin Kilbane move to Sunderland for £2.5 million and Chairman Tony Hale resign.
"If Brian leaves, I will be mortified but I will also be surprised," the Albion director said.
"He`s the right man for this job - a man of enormous ability and integrity. I spoke with him over the weekend and he told me that he didn`t want to resign, that he just wanted people to be level with him and I can`t argue with that.
"He was right not to be happy over what happened with Kevin Kilbane. The way it was handled was not correct. There has been too much ambiguity here and we need to wipe the slate clean."
The former Aston Villa manager is also unhappy about not being given the money to spend he was promised when taking the job just before the start of the season.
Little said: "I might have to consider my position. When you take a job and certain promises are made, you have to consider what`s happening if they don`t come about.
"I can`t sleep at night because of this. We should have got more for Kilbane but I wasn`t even asked."
