Derby County striker Izale McLeod will be sidelined for up to six weeks following surgery to repair damaged knee cartilage, according to the player's agent.
Gino Culbertson has told skysports.com that McLeod will face a lengthy spell on the sidelines to recover from his operation, after picking up a knock in training.
He joins Brazilian striker Junior in having knee surgery, as Rams boss George Burley must now rely on the services of Mathias Svensson and Lee Morris up front.
Svensson should be fit for next Saturday's match versus high-flying Wigan Athletic, despite taking knock on his ankle during the defeat to West Ham United at Pride Park.
Morris is also hoping to be fit for Saturday, despite plans to see a back specialist this week to assess his latest hamstring and back problems.
