Mounir El Hamdaoui's equaliser grabbed Derby a 1-1 draw away at Wolves.
Mounir El Hamdaoui struck a minute after the interval to gain Derby a well-earned point from a 1-1 draw against Wolves.
The on-loan striker's powerful finish cancelled out Kenny Miller's first-half opener as Glenn Hoddle's side had to settle for a point at home.
It had appeared as if the hosts would be set for their first win in three outings when Miller opened the scoring after just six minutes.
The Scotland international swiftly latched onto a through pass from Lee Naylor to stab the ball past Kevin Poole in the visitors' goal.
The early strike rocked Derby and they were lucky not to find themselves further behind when Miller went close again with a dipping shot that just went past the post.
However, Carl Cort squandered the best chance to double Wolves' lead when he blazed his shot over the bar after controlling Ki-Hyeon Seol's left wing cross.
Somehow Derby managed to go in at the break just one goal down and they caught their opponents cold after the re-start when El Hamdaoui rattled the ball home to stun the home crowd.
Things could have got even better for the Rams a minute later when Morten Bisgaard was through on goal but the Dane shot tamely at Michael Oakes under pressure.
Cort thought he had put Wolves back in front only to see his header cleared off the line, while Naylor saw his shot charged down as the hosts attempted to take the lead for a second time.
But, Derby's defence managed to hold firm in the closing stages as the two teams had to settle for a share of the spoils.
