Bournemouth have taken Derby starlet Lionel Ainsworth on trial.
Bournemouth have taken Derby starlet Lionel Ainsworth on trial as they weigh up whether to secure a loan switch for this season.
The 18-year-old forward will be handed playing time at the weekend against Portsmouth in a pre-season friendly, with Cherries chief Sean O'Driscoll to run the rule over the player.
O'Driscoll could, if he is impressed, take the player to Dean Court in a loan switch but it all depends on how Ainsworth fares at the weekend.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth have been boosted by the return of injured duo Neil Moss and Josh Gowling, as they both came through a 25-minute workout on Thursday against Bashley.
A 10-1 victory suggests Bournemouth are in good shape for the forthcoming campaign, with key striker James Hayter stealing the plaudits with five second half goals.
