Stephen Bywater's and Alex Bruce's wrongful dismissal claims have been upheld by the FA.
Derby goalkeeper Stephen Bywater and Ipswich defender Alex Bruce have had their claims for wrongful dismissal upheld by The Football Association.
Both players have however, been hit with a new charge of improper conduct.
Bywater and Bruce were sent off by referee Iain Williamson after squaring up to each other during the first half of Ipswich's 2-1 win at Portman Road on Saturday.
The pair have escaped three-match bans which would have ended their season after the FA disciplinary hearing upheld their appeals against the sending-offs.
But both players now have to answer to charges of improper conduct following their dismissal as they clashed on their way in to the tunnel and were kept apart by team-mates.
They have until 6pm on Wednesday to answer the charges.
