Moyes was alleged to have been involved in a scuffle with midfielder Paul McKenna and goalkeeper Tepi Moilanen while in Austria.
The Scotsman has now said that the matter has been dealt with within the club, and that it was blown out of proportion.
"The incident which occurred at the end of the tour, though regrettable, has been dealt with internally," said Moyes.
"It has received far more media attention than was merited and we are focusing on our preparations for the season."
The Deepdale side have said that there will be no disciplinary action taken against Moyes or either of the players, with deputy chairman Derek Shaw also playing down the incident.
"It would appear a lot has been made of very little," said Shaw.
"David explained what happened when we spoke about the matter, and I have discussed the issue with our chairman Brian Gray, who is on holiday."
One of the players involved, McKenna, has also played down the event, and said that the matter has been resolved.
"There is definitely no hard feelings," said McKenna. "The gaffer has made a statement on the internet and now that is and end to it."
