McKenna signs New North End deal

Preston star Paul McKenna has signed a new contract.

Preston star Paul McKenna has pledged his future to the club by signing a new deal at Deepdale.

The 26-year-old has penned a three-year extension to his contract to keep him at North End until 2006.

McKenna becomes the second North End player to sign a long-term deal in the last few days following Richard Cresswell's decision to stay at Deepdale and the midfielder was happy to sort out his future.

"Being here so long, it is nice to pledge my future to the club," McKenna told the club's official website.

"In this day and age there aren't many lads who get the chance to stay at a club for long. All my freinds and family live here so I've never had to move away and now I have the added bonus of the next four years of security, so I'm very pleased."
