The 25-year-old is looking to secure a move away from Tilburg in the January transfer window and PNE boss Billy Davies has been alerted to his situation.
Davies has been impressed with the scouting reports of Redan and is ready to hand him a deal when the transfer window opens in January.
Redan is said to be keen on testing himself in England and will travel over to Preston next week to get a feel for Deepdale and the surrounding area.
Davies has informed the player he will not need to undertake a trial, with a deal likely to be wrapped up if Redan is happy with his trip to Preston.
Redan has made just two substitute appearances for Willem II this term and the former RBC Roosendaal, RKC Waalwijk and Roda JC man is eager to kick-start his career.
