Norwich boss Nigel Worthington says Dickson Etuhu will stay permanently.Norwich boss Nigel Worthington has revealed that Dickson Etuhu will sign a permanent contract with The Canaries in January.
The midfielder arrived on a two-month loan from Preston last week, with it believed he was playing for a permanent deal over the course of the next eight weeks.
Worthington, though, claims a permanent deal is already in place and it will be signed when the transfer window opens in January.
"There's a loan deal in place which takes us through to the transfer window when a permanent deal can be achieved," Worthington told the club's website. "There's an agreement between the two clubs that, come January, Dickson will be a Norwich City player."
Worthington has revealed he has been tracking Etuhu for some time.
"This has been going on for the longer term," added the Carrow Road chief. "We first watched Dickson play at Ipswich about 18 months ago.
"He's always been a player we've quite fancied and we have had to be patient."
