Huddersfield happy for defender to stay out on loan

Bradford City have extended the loan of Huddersfield Town defender Tom Clarke until January. Clarke has made six appearances for the Bantams since joining in late October and will now stay at Valley Parade until the New Year. Huddersfield have a 24-hour recall clause in the extension and the Terriers' caretaker manager Gerry Murphy feels the deal is beneficial to all parties. "It will benefit us because Tom is playing there," Murphy told the club's official website. "We now have a 24-hour recall clause on Tom as well, so if anything goes wrong here we can have him back." Murphy's Bradford counterpart Stuart McCall is also hoping to extend the loan deal of Sheffield United midfielder Nicky Law. And, ahead of Thursday's loan deadline, McCall is considering signing a winger on a temporary basis after Omar Daley joined the club's injury list.
