Glovers want former Swans striker at Huish Park

Yeovil Town have admitted making an offer to former Swansea striker Lee Trundle. The 33-year-old forward was released by the Championship outfit earlier this week following a second spell at the club, for whom he scored 91 goals in 194 appearances. The free agent is now on the hunt for a new club and Charlton and Swindon are also thought to be interested in the player. While Yeovil boss Terry Skiverton would be delighted to secure Trundle's signature, he knows he faces stiff competition. Skiverton told the South Wales Evening Post: "We have spoken, I am not going to lie. "He is a Championship-type player and a couple of years ago he was worth around £1m. "We have made an offer to him and he is mulling it over, but there will be Championship clubs interested in him and we will have to wait and see."
