Preston manager Graham Westley has signed youngster Todd Kane on a short-term loan deal from Chelsea.
The 19-year-old defender will link-up with Westley's League One side until January 5 and is available for their trip to Leyton Orient at the weekend. Kane has represented England Under-19s and joined the Blues as an eight-year-old. He has risen through the west London club's ranks and captained their Under-21's this campaign. The right-back was a key member of Chelsea's FA Youth Cup winning side last season.
