A number of Championship sides are monitoring Joe Garner's contract situation at Preston North End, Sky Sports understands.
Garner is entering the final year of his current deal at Deepdale and, as yet, he has failed to agree a new contract.
The situation has alerted several sides who are all keen to land the former Nottingham Forest and Watford forward.
Garner enjoyed a stunning season for Preston last season, finishing as top scorer with 24 goals as Simon Grayson's side reached the play-off semi-finals.
Preston are determined to keep hold of their prize asset and talks are continuing as they look to try and thrash out a new deal for Garner.
The likes of Wolves and Brentford, who are both looking to bolster their attacking options as they prepare for life in the Championship, are thought to be keeping tabs on Garner.
