Huddersfield head coach David Wagner was disappointed to see the incident which occurred during West Brom’s training camp but has backed Alan Pardew to deal with their problems.
Huddersfield travel to the Hawthorns on Saturday to take on West Brom, who are playing their first Premier League game since four of their players admitted to breaking a club curfew while the team were on a training camp in Barcelona last week.
Wagner has sympathy for Albion boss Alan Pardew but does not expect their off-field problems to affect Saturday's crucial game at the bottom of the table.
He said: "I think it's a fact that they have some problems and they've had quieter days in the past, and I'm totally sure Alan would wish this not to be the case but now it's the case and he has to deal with it.
"For sure he didn't like what happened last week with the incidents which we've altogether known but he's experienced enough to deal with it.
"Nothing really bothers us because it's nothing we can really influence and this isn't a case why I think it's a good time to meet them.
"I think it's a good time to meet them because of us, because of our momentum and our performances we have shown in the past. It's up to us to show it again, against West Brom.
"Sometimes these incidents happen but I don't like to make it bigger than it is because it's not an incident I have to deal with.
"I know I don't like it, but it's West Brom's problem which they have solved so nothing that really bothers us."
Asked whether his club's spirit prevents situations like the one at West Brom from happening at Huddersfield, the German replied: "I think there's no doubt about a positive atmosphere and a togetherness where everybody pulls in the same direction, where everybody follows the rules, helps.
"This is one of the advantages of this football club that everybody, win, lose or draw, sticks together, follows the idea and trusts in each other. This is one of our biggest strengths."
Huddersfield will be without midfielder Aaron Mooy (knee injury) for the match at West Brom, but Chris Lowe and Laurent Depoitre may be available with both players back in training.
