Todd trial extended

Andy Todd's trial with League One outfit Oldham has been extended.

Andy Todd's trial with League One outfit Oldham Athletic has been extended.

The former Nottingham Forest trainee, who is currently with non-league Hucknall Town, has been with The Latics since early July.

A decision may be made on the 26-year-old's future by Ronnie Moore following this weekend's two pre-season clashes.

Todd is set to feature against Stockport on Friday and he is also expected to play against Middlesbrough a day later.

Meanwhile, another trialist, Joe Murphy, has returned to West Brom after his playing time at the club was restricted by injury.

The 23-year-old managed just 20 minutes of action before a calf strain ruled him out of playing again for The Latics.
