Tomasz Kuszczak admits his dream is to represent Poland in this year's World Cup finals.
The West Brom keeper has been outstanding for Bryan Robson's side recently and made probably the save of the season to deny Jason Roberts in the closing stages of Sunday's win at Wigan Athletic.
With Jerzy Dudek out of the limelight at Liverpool and looking to move on, the stage is set for Kuszczak to grab his opportunity with both hands.
"If I go to Germany, it will be the most happy I have been," said Kuszczak.
"Now I must try to play well for West Brom to be spotted.
"It is crucial for me that I stay in the team. To play in a World Cup is my dream.
"I've not spoken to the coach [Pawel Janas] but I've read good things and I believe I could be part of things for the next game.
"That is crucial for me."
Poland's next outing is a friendly against USA in March.
