West Brom manager Roy Hodgson hopes to have Graham Dorrans and Jerome Thomas available to take on former club Liverpool at the weekend.
Scotland midfielder Dorrans missed the derby win over Aston Villa due to a knee injury sustained in training, while Thomas has missed training this week after bruising a foot.
But Hodgson expects both players to be ready when he aims to repeat last season's 2-1 win over his ex-employers, Liverpool, while Gabriel Tamas is also available.
"Gabi is fit," the Baggies boss told his club's official website on Wednesday.
"Jerome Thomas had a slight foot bruise which kept him out on Monday and we left him out yesterday for precautionary reasons. We wanted to give him another day to get over that.
"Graham Dorrans is making good strides from his knee problem.
"He could well be back this weekend. He should be back training with us on Thursday.
Paul Scharner has emerged as a slight doubt for West Brom ahead of the Saturday evening match after also missing training.
"With Scharner, from the two matches playing for Austria he's had a slight tweak to the knee, so the medical staff kept him out for precautionary reasons," said Hodgson.
