Chesterfield have signed West Bromwich Albion defender James Hurst on loan until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old right-back has already spent time on loan with Blackpool and Shrewsbury this season and recently penned a long-term contract with the Baggies. Hurst is a product of West Brom's academy system and represented England at the Under-20 World Cup last summer. He is expected to go straight into John Sheridan's squad for the weekend trip to Leyton Orient. Hurst's deal is classed as a youth loan and under these terms he can be recalled to the Hawthorns at any time after spending 28 days with the Spireites.
