Jones fury at Kameni blow

WOLVES manager Dave Jones has been left fuming by the Home Office's decision to reject Carlos Kameni's work permit appeal.

Despite featuring 25 times already in his young career, the 19-year has not appeared in 75 percent or more of his country's recent internationals.

The club's initial application was rejected, however the Molineux side had hoped an appeal would ensure the Cameroon international secured his permit.

Jones was clearly unhappy at missing out on highly-rated shot-stopper, with a number of big name clubs now set to pounce for the Le Havre ace.

"I am really surprised by that," fumed Jones. "I have to be careful what I say but I am angry about it.

"He's 19 and has played 25 times already for his country. As an outfield player, he would probably have met the ratio.

"I fear that's the end of it for us. I know there are some bigger clubs ready to come in the moment he gets his French passport.

"From the moment he walked in he established himself within the group. It's a bitter disappointment."
