The Midlands side, who have made an indifferent start to life in the top flight, are just two points off 13th placed Tottenham despite being in the drop zone.
Jones has confirmed he has a lengthy wanted list, but cannot guarantee who will be arriving in the January transfer window.
"There are loads of players I'm interested in, but whether clubs are prepared to let them go is another story," explained Jones.
"And it's pointless asking clubs in advance if they will let players go because at this stage they won't give you an answer.
"But we will look at all the options available to us, including possible loan deals."
Meanwhile, Jones refused to confirm whether Latvian hero Maris Verpakovskis could be featuring for the club in the near future.
The striker scored in both legs as Latvia overcame Turkey in their Portugal 2004 play-off tie to seal their first-ever place in a major championships.
"We are monitoring the situation with regards to Maris," he concluded.
