Leon Clarke equalised in injury time to earn Wolves a point against Gillingham.
Leon Clarke scored in injury time to earn Wolves a 2-2 draw against Gillingham and deny Stan Ternent's side a priceless away win.
Gillingham led twice through Darius Henderson and Michael Flynn, who thought he had scored a last-minute winner, but allowed Wolves to hit back each time through Kenny Miller and Clarke.
Nicky Southall came closest to scoring for the visitors in a forgettable first half when he curled a free-kick against the crossbar from 20 yards.
Gillingham did take the lead 10 minutes into the second half when Jody Craddock failed to deal with Darren Byfield's cross and presented Henderson with a simple chance to score from 18 yards.
Wolves were quickly back on level terms when Rob Edwards crossed for Miller, who glanced a header past Steve Banks at his near post.
Banks saved bravely at the feet of Seyi Olofinjana to keep the Gills on level terms and then, in the 90th minute, launched a long ball downfield which evaded the Wolves defence and enabled Flynn to beat Michael Oakes.
Wolves threw men forward in search of an equaliser and they were rewarded when Clarke scrambled the ball home two minutes into stoppage time.
