Glenn Hoddle's side recorded their 20th draw of the Championship campaign after Joleon Lescott cancelled out Alan Maybury's opening goal for The Foxes.
Mark de Vries broke his duck for Leicester at the weekend, but he failed to test Wolves goalkeeper Michael Oakes with an early header.
Oakes then saved from David Connolly, as Leicester cut out the early running before the Irish striker had a goal disallowed for offside on 20 minutes.
Wolves shot-stopper Oakes then denied Gareth Williams while Kenny Miller twice headed off target for the visitors.
There was a melee before the hour mark, just prior to Leicester appealing for a penalty, as Connolly went to ground under a dual challenge from Lescott and Lee Naylor.
The breakthrough arrived on 73 minutes when Maybury cut in from the left and unleashed a fizzing shot beyond Oakes.
But with two minutes left, Wolves snatched their club record-breaking draw, as Lescott thumped a volley into the back of the net after Leicester failed to clear a corner.
