MK Dons have bolstered their playing ranks with the signing of Mirano Carrilho.MK Dons boss Danny Wilson has bolstered his playing ranks with the signing of Mirano Carrilho.
The experienced 30-year-old Dutchman has joined the League One outfit on a short-term deal until mid-January after an impressive trial spell.
Carrilho, a full back, started his career at Ajax and has amassed plenty of experience in a career that has taken him to De Graafschap, ADO Den Haag, AZ Alkmaar, FC Dordrecht and Rottweis Essen.
It is expected that Wilson could hand Carrilho a debut against Norwich on Tuesday night - with the player keen to make an immediate impression.
"I cannot wait to play,'' Carrilho told the club's official website.
''I've been training with the club for 10 days and Danny Wilson said he was impressed with me. He has brought me in to the club and I want to show him how well I can play.
"I've always been keen to play in England. I've often been told that my game would suit English football and that I should try it.
''I can play a tough game in defence and like to attack down the wings as well as getting strong tackles in."
Meanwhile, the agent of talented striker Izale McLeod insists his client remains content despite reported interested from Championship favourites Wolves.
The pacey forward has realised his potential thus far this term with several fine goals and it is such form that has attracted attention from the higher echelons of the football ladder.
''We have an excellent relationship with the owners of MK Dons,'' agent Gino Culbertson told skysports.com.
''Until we receive confirmation of any kind of bid the club wishes to consider, there is nothing for us to do.
''Izale is happy at the club and until he is told otherwise will remain so.''
