Wolves have loaned out Keith Lowe and Chris Cornes.Wolves have loaned out two of their young players, with Keith Lowe moving to Championship rivals Burnley and Chris Cornes moving to Port Vale.
Burnley have been desperate to bring in cover for their threadbare squad, and will be boosted by the news that promising young defender Lowe will join their ranks.
Port Vale have brought in 18-year-old striker Cornes as a replacement to Hector Sam, who broke his leg against Rotherham in the Carling Cup this week.
Meanwhile, Wolves have secured Leon Clarke to a new contract that will bind him to the club until 2008.
Clarke was a key figure for Wolves last season, scoring eight goals after becoming a first team regular.
"I was told at the end of last season that I would be offered a new contract so, although it didn't come as a surprise, I'm thrilled to bits," said Clarke.
"I'd like to take this opportunity of thanking the fans for their support. They have been great to me and now I want to repay them - with goals."
