Struggling Leeds United have signed Wolves' Jemal Johnson on a month's loan.
Struggling Leeds United have bolstered their strike force with the addition of Wolves' Jemal Johnson on a month's loan.
The former Blackburn, Preston and Darlington striker has been pushed down Mick McCarthy's pecking order following the recent arrivals of Andy Keogh and Stephen Ward.
Johnson could now make his Whites debut in the side's crunch clash with QPR on Tuesday, although he will not be allowed to feature for Leeds at Molineux this weekend.
David Healy did make his return in the loss to Cardiff along with Richard Cresswell continuing his return to fitness, although Dennis Wise wants as many options at his disposal possible.
"Jemal's opportunities have been reduced here with Andy Keogh and Stephen Ward playing so well," McCarthy told Wolves' official website.
"He needs to get some football. Leeds expressed some interest before. Dennis wants to freshen up his squad so this will be a good move for him."
