Southend striker Freddy Eastwood has agreed personal terms with Wolves.Wolverhampton Wanderers have announced they have agreed a deal to sign Southend star Freddy Eastwood.
The Midlands club had a bid accepted for the prolific striker earlier on Wednesday and have now agreed personal terms with Eastwood on a four-year deal.
The former West Ham trainee will move to Molineux in the coming days after scoring 62 goals in 129 appearances for The Shrimpers.
Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey told the club's official website: "We are delighted to report that following discussions, and a medical, with Freddy at Molineux today, we have now agreed personal terms. Freddy will sign a four-year contract.
"The formalities of this transfer should be completed within the next few days."
Wolves reportedly tabled a £2million bid for Eastwood, but have failed in another approach for Leicester City striker Matty Fryatt.
Foxes boss Martin Allen has confirmed that the offer from Molineux fell well short of Fryatt's valuation.
"We have turned down an offer from Wolverhampton Wanderers for our striker, Matty Fryatt," Allen told the club's official website. "The offer was nowhere near high enough."
