Southampton are in talks with a number of clubs over a loan deal for striker Sam Gallagher, according to Sky sources.
Sky Sports News understands Aston Villa, Birmingham and Derby have held initial talks about taking Gallagher on loan for the season.
Gallagher has not featured for Southampton so far this season and manager Mauricio Pellegrino is willing to let him leave on a temporary basis.
The 21-year-old, who scored 12 goals in 47 appearances last season while on loan at Blackburn, signed a new four-year deal at St Mary's in August.
Gallagher represented Scotland at U19 level before switching his allegiances to England and he has since featured for the Three Lions at U19 and U20 level.
