Barcelona striker Paco Alcacer is expected to leave the club in January but has no intention of making a move to Premier League side Southampton. The striker, who was signed from Valencia in the summer of 2016, has not featured for Barca since August and was left out of the squad for their 1-1 draw at Atletico Madrid.
Southampton, who need to add attacking reinforcements, were hoping the fact Alcacer worked with Mauricio Pellegrino at Valencia would give them the edge, but the striker is not convinced a move to St Mary's is the right step. (Mundo Deportivo)
