Tessem wants Lyn talks

Jo Tessem has admitted he would like to make his loan move to Lyn permanent

Southampton forward Jo Tessem has admitted he would like to turn his loan move to Lyn into a permanent arrangement.

Tessem's contract at St Mary's expires next month and he is widely expected to head for pastures new.

The forward has been on loan at Lyn since March and has enjoyed his spell in Norway to the extent that he would like to thrash out a permanent deal.

"I am very happy at Lyn and if I shall extend my career in Norway, Lyn is the only alternative," Tessem told Nettavisen. "But we have yet to discuss a permanent transfer."

Elfsborg have been linked with a move for the former Norway international, but the forward claims he is most unlikely to move to the Swedish club.

"I have heard about the interest from Elfsborg," he said. "But I don't think I will play for them after the summer.

"But I keep all options open."
