Burley agrees loan deals

Southampton have allowed Feliciano Condesso to join Spanish outfit Villarreal on loan.

Southampton manager George Burley has allowed youngster Feliciano Condesso to join Spanish outfit Villarreal on loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old has struggled to break through to the first team after a quick rise through the Saints' academy.

He joined the club from Portuguese side Vitoria Setubal in the 2003/04 season and will aim to gain some much needed experience with Villarreal before returning to Southampton in the summer.

Condesso has already begun training with the Yellow Submarines and is expected to be playing for their B team soon.

Saints have also agreed to extend Leon Best's loan deal with League One outfit Yeovil until the beginning of February.

Best has made a significant impact since his arrival at Huish Park, scoring five goals in six league starts since his move in November.

Meanwhile, Kyle Critchell has returned to St Mary's following his loan spell at Torquay.

The 19-year-old full-back made his professional debut for the struggling League Two side and had since made ten first team appearances during his two-month loan spell with the club.
