A drab 0-0 stalemate at the Liberty Stadium stretched the South Coast club's unbeaten run to six games as they moved eight points clear of the relegation zone.
Pochettino's 12-placed men are not yet guaranteed security from the drop but the Argentine is looking up the table rather than down.
He told Sky Sports through an interpreter: "The goal is the same as always - to get the three points from every game we play.
"If we cannot get the three points, at least get a point from the away games."
Star striker Rickie Lambert was substituted in the second half against Swansea amid rumours he had suffered an injury.
And while it is not thought to be a serious problem, Pochettino confirmed the forward has been struggling to train over the past fortnight.
"It was a tactical decision," said Pochettino. "I was trying to make my strikers go a little bit faster. It is also true that Rickie has not been able to train properly in the last two weeks.
"The first half today was quite demanding on the strikers. At the end of the day, strikers can suffer when they do not train properly."
