Stoke City may be nearing a move for Anderlecht goalkeeper Tristan Peersman.Stoke City may be nearing a move for Anderlecht goalkeeper Tristan Peersman.
The 26-year-old has been on trial with the Championship club this week, having fallen out of favour with the Belgian giants since the summer arrival of Silvio Proto.
A number of clubs have shown an interest in Peersman, with Coventry City and Queens Park Rangers having been linked to the custodian in the summer.
Dutch side Willem II and Norwegian club Lyn Oslo are also admirers of the Belgian shot-stopper, though Peersman is thought to have been impressed by Stoke's facilities during his trial this week.
Potters boss Johan Boskamp looks to have used the international break to open talks with Anderlecht for Peersman, with the Dutch coach having reportedly travelled to Brussels to speak with his former club.
According to reports in Belgium, Boskamp will also speak to Anderlecht regarding the availability of striker Jonathan Legear and midfielder Goran Lovre during his visit.
