Stoke have offered new deals to Andy Wilkinson and Karl Henry.
Stoke have offered new deals to Andy Wilkinson and Karl Henry and are confident the pair will commit to the club.
Defender Wilkinson has been offered a 12-month extension, while midfielder Henry has been proposed a two-year deal.
Stoke director of football John Rudge says talks have been ongoing for some time and is hopeful of a positive outcome.
"We've been talking to the players for quite a while now," Rudge told the club's website. "We're hopefully going to keep the pair for the foreseeable future.
"They're both academy graduates and have been with us for many years and are definitely players for the future. Nothing has been agreed yet but we're hoping they'll stay here."
The Potters, meanwhile, have terminated the contract of Toddi Gudjonsson by mutual consent, with the 32-year-old expected to link up with Akranes in his native Iceland.
