Keeper seeking confidence boost

Stoke goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen is refusing to panic despite the side's slump in form. The Potters suffered their fourth successive league defeat after going down 2-1 to Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday. Stoke have slipped down to 13th spot in the table and Sorensen was frustrated they came away from their trip to Fulham with nothing to show for their efforts. "They got two goals but we had the same amount of chances and we didn't score," said Sorensen. "Sometimes it is about getting that first goal and for some time now we haven't been getting the first goal, which is disappointing. "Now we are looking at any game to boost confidence. "We were in quite a similar position before Christmas and then we went on to win I think five out of six games. "In the Premier League, it is small, small margins. With a little bit of luck and a little bit of quality and you are there again. "I am not worried at this time but we can agree we need some points."
