Stoke boss Mark Hughes is confident the team spirit at the Britannia Stadium will help summer signing Bojan Krkic recapture his best form.
The Potters completed a shock swoop to bring in the Spanish forward from Barcelona on a four-year deal after his career stalled following a promising beginning with the Nou Camp outfit.
The 23-year-old broke into the Barca first team as a teenager in 2007 but struggled to make an impression and moved to Roma for £10million before heading back to his first club last summer following a loan spell at AC Milan.
Another stint away from Catalunya quickly followed, as he spent the 2013/14 campaign in Holland with Ajax, where Hughes believes he found it hard to settle.

But the Stoke boss is confident Bojan will be able to make his mark in the Premier League with the backing of his new team-mates.
He said: "You can just see his ability and tell that he's played at the top level.
"He's a young man who has come to us with the attitude of getting back on track.
"A lot of people doubted him but the quality is clearly there and it's just a case of bringing it out of him.
"He's a nice kid and the fact that we have a few Spanish speakers in the dressing room should help.
"From speaking to him he didn't seem to have a relationship with the players at Ajax and that must have made things difficult. That shouldn't be the case here."
