Kevin Nicholls's penalty with two minutes remaining gave Mike Newell's side all three points in Bedfordshire, as The Saddlers were denied a point.

Following a goalless first half, Mark Jones gave The Dragons the lead five minutes after the break before Neil Danns levelled matters on the hour mark for The U's.
Wayne Brown gave Colchester the lead on 71 minutes, but Hector Sam made sure the points were shared in North Wales with Wrexham's second ten minutes from time.
