Wrexham got off to a flying start with a quick-fire double from Juan Ugarte (5,11) putting them 2-0 up.

Carlos Edwards added a third on 14 minutes to put Wrexham in control.

Stuart Barlow pulled a goal back for Stockport on 27 minutes, but Ugarte restored the three goal cushion when completing his hat-trick just before the half hour mark.

Milton Keynes Dons are also still battling for survival after a 3-0 win at already relegated Peterborough.

Nicholas Rizzo gave the visitors the lead after just nine minutes and Izale McLeod added a second on 22 minutes.

McLeod wrapped up the victory with his second five minutes from the end.

Torquay boosted their hopes of avoiding the drop with a 2-0 win over Blackpool.

Adebayo Akinfenwa sent them on their way with the opener on 16 minutes and Alex Russell made sure with the second on 54 minutes.

Sheffield Wednesday picked up a precious three points with a last-gasp 2-1 win at Hull.

James Quinn's last minute goal gave Wednesday the win after Stuart Elliott's 60th minute penalty had cancelled out Andrew Talbot's opener on 19 minutes.

Bradford dented Bournemouth's play-offs hopes with a 4-2 victory at Valley Parade.

The home side raced into a two-goal lead at half time thanks to strikes from Dean Windass (19) and Steven Schumacher (38).

Bournemouth fought back and drew level with two quick-fire strikes from James Hayter (61) and Matthew Mills (63).

Windass restored Bradford's lead on 75 minutes and made sure of the win with his third goal of the day in the final minute.

Hartlepool missed the chance to book their play-off spot after going down 3-1 to Walsall.

Walsall were gifted the lead when Matty Robson netted an own goal after ten minutes and Julian Joachim maintained his rich vein of form in front of goal with the second four minutes later.

Andrew Surman grabbed a third for Walsall on 42 minutes to render Adam Boyd's 70th minute penalty a mere consolation.

Steve Brooker's last-gasp goal earned Bristol City a 2-2 draw at home to Doncaster to keep their slim promotion hopes alive.

Leo Fortune-West gave Doncaster the lead on 34 minutes, but Brooker drew City level just past the hour mark.

Things got worse for Doncaster minutes later when Ricky Ravenhill was sent off.

Fortune-West restored Doncaster's lead two minutes from the end and it looked like being enough until Brooker struck in the dying seconds for City.

Huddersfield beat nine-man Swindon 4-0 to keep them on the fringes of the play-offs.

Swindon's hopes went up in smoke when both David Duke and Rory Fallon were sent off just before half time.

Pawel Abbott made Huddersfield's numerical advantage count with the first goal on 62 minutes and veteran striker Andy Booth added a second on 79 minutes.

Abbott grabbed his second on 80 minutes before Rob Edwards completed the rout with the fourth five minutes from time.

Champions Luton maintained their push to accumulate 100 points with a 4-2 win over Brentford.

Ahmet Brkovic gave Luton the lead after just five minutes, but two quick strikes from Sam Sodje (21) and Deon Burton (26) turned the game in Brentford's favour.

Kevin Nicholls drew Luton level from the penalty spot on 80 minutes and two last-gasp strikes from Steve Robinson and Enoch Showunmi gave Luton all three points.

Oldham remain in trouble after they went down 1-0 to Chesterfield.

Ian Evatt netted the only goal of the game on 69 minutes to leave Oldham sweating over the survival.

Gavin Johnson's late goal earned Colchester a 1-1 draw at Barnsley.

Daniel Nardiello's 41st minute goal looked like being enough for Barnsley until Johnson popped up with an 88th minute equaliser.
