Carlisle are through to the final of the LDV Vans Trophy after beating Macclesfield on away goals while Swansea hold the advantage over Colchester.
The Cumbrians took a 2-1 scoreline to Moss Ross but The Silkmen made a blistering start to the contest and swiftly turned the contest on its head.
Goals from Andrew Teague and on loan Matt McNeil had the home side two-up inside the opening half hour in the Northern Area final.
Free-scoring Karl Hawley (pictured) reduced the arrears before the interval levelling the aggregate score.
With no further goals, the contest went into extra time and it was Carlisle who seized the advantage when Simon Grand emphatically smashed home.
Kevin Townson did pull one back but there was little time for Macclesfield to score the fourth they needed to book a place in the Millennium Stadium final in April.
Swansea take a one-goal advantage back to Layer Road following a 1-0 win over Colchester in the first leg of their LDV Vans Southern Area final.
The only goal of the game arrived shortly before half time at The Liberty Stadium with Adebayo Akinfenwa finding the back of the net.
