Clive Platt has insisted he is 'happy' at Colchester United, amid reports linking him with a move away from the League One club.
Recent reports claimed interest from a number of Championship sides was gathering around the Colchester striker.
However, the 30-year-old, who scored eight goals last season, has said he knows nothing of the speculation surrounding his future.
"I've heard absolutely nothing about that," Platt told the Gazette.
"And nothing like that has been said to me by my agent or Colchester United.
"I still have another two years left on my contract and I'm perfectly happy where I am."
Platt did concede that he would consider an offer, should he receive an approach from another club.
He added: "At the end of the day if something is put in front of you and it is going to benefit you then I would obviously want to take a good look at it.
"But as far as I am concerned I'm ready to get going again and kick-off the new season in the new stadium."
Meanwhile, striker Kevin Lisbie has confirmed that he sees his immediate future with The U's.
"Right now I'm a Colchester United player and I'm looking forward to kicking-off in the new Weston Homes Community Stadium," said Lisbie.
"I can't guarantee anything. If another club comes in for me and the two teams agree a fee, who knows where I could be by the time the season gets under way.
"But it would have to be a southern club because there's no way I would move up north to a Burnley, Huddersfield or Barnsley."
