Sheffield Wednesday start their 2017/18 Sky Bet Championship campaign with an away trip to Preston North End on Saturday, August 5.

The Owls then take on QPR at Hillsborough on August 12, before hosting relegated Sunderland on August 15.

The first Steel City derby takes place on September 23 when newly promoted Sheffield United travel to Hillsborough, while the return fixture at Bramall Lane is on January 13.

Carlos Carvalhal's side host Yorkshire rivals Leeds on September 30 before welcoming newly-promoted Bolton to Hillsborough on October 14 and entertaining Barnsley a couple of weeks later on October 28.

They make the trip to the City Ground on Boxing Day to face Nottingham Forest and face a trip to Brentford on December 30, while Burton Albion visit Hillsborough on New Year's Day.

In 2018, the Owls face trips to Barnsley on February 10 and then Leeds on March 17. They complete the season at home to Norwich on May 6.
