Sheffield Wednesday are considering a fresh bid for Wycombe striker Nathan Tyson.Sheffield Wednesday manager Paul Sturrock says he will consider making a fresh bid for Wycombe Wanderers striker Nathan Tyson.
The Owls had two 'substantial' offers for the 23-year-old rebuffed by The Chairboys this week, as The Championship's bottom club look for a new frontman.
Sturrock was keen to secure the former Reading hit-man's services for January by reaching a deal now but the League Two club have so far turned their advances away.
Despite looking at other options, the former Plymouth Argyle and Southampton manager has not ruled out making a fresh move for the prolific goalscorer.
"We've got to decide if we're going to go back again," Sturrock told the club's official website.
"I'm still searching other clubs and I still feel we need [a target man].
"We haven't scored enough goals and we need a bit of height and pace - I'm trying to bring those options to the club."
Tyson has already expressed a desire to move to The Championship in January and it remains to be seen if the South Yorkshire side can lure him to Hillsborough in the New Year.
