MK Dons have not received a new bid from Sheffield Wednesday for Clive Platt.Milton Keynes Dons boss Danny Wilson says he has not received a new bid from Sheffield Wednesday for striker Clive Platt.
The Owls are searching for reinforcements in the striking department, with reports suggesting that Wednesday made a fresh £500,000 offer for the former Rochdale, Notts County and Peterborough United man.
Wilson, however, stated that Wednesday's £100,000 summer bid for the 27-year-old was the last he has heard on the subject.
"Nobody's spoke to me at all about Clive Platt," Wilson told the Milton Keynes Citizen.
"Apart from the initial phone call two or three months ago, nobody at all has spoken to me.
"His value is very high as far as we are concerned, and if it's £500,000 they are talking about, then that's a minimum I would think."
One player whose future is in the balance at The National Hockey Stadium is midfielder Jason Puncheon after he was disciplined for breaching club rules.
Wilson admitted that the 19-year-old's actions have put his MK Dons career in the balance.
"We shall wait and see if Jason's still got a future at the club," he added.
"It's an internal matter that we're dealing with at the moment, and so that's as far as I will say at the moment.
"At this moment in time, he's been disciplined by the club and we'll see what develops.
"There's no time scale on it at the moment."
