The 27-year-old striker saw an initial stint with the Owls come to an end on Saturday, as he netted an important leveller in their derby date with Barnsley.
That effort was his second in five appearances since taking the decision to step down into the Championship in search of regular football.
Fraytt admits he would be open to heading back to Hillsborough in the near future, but may have to be patient as parent club Hull are facing up to a month without Danny Graham.
Tigers boss Steve Bruce claims the door has not been closed on Fryatt at the KC Stadium, but the former Walsall and Leicester City frontman is not convinced.
"What, the exit door?" he said.
"I missed the whole of last year. I need games. I came to Sheffield Wednesday and played games and scored a couple of goals.
"I've felt with each game stronger and stronger. I've been able to get myself in some goalscoring positions and really enjoyed it.
"If I go back to Hull, I'll probably be training again and not playing. That's not going to benefit me.
"You need to be playing. You can do everything in training but it's not the same as a game. It's completely different."
