Wales duo Robert Page and Rhys Weston will miss the qualifier against England.Wales' plans for the World Cup qualifier with England have suffered a setback after defenders Robert Page and Rhys Weston were ruled out of the showdown.
Page, who was expected to partner Daniel Gabbidon at the heart of the defence, is sidelined with damaged ribs.
The 30-year-old has not played for his club Cardiff City in almost three weeks and will now miss the Old Trafford showdown for his country.
He will, however, stay with the Wales squad as he may be fit for next Wednesday's qualifier at home to Poland.
Page's club colleague Weston will miss both games as he is carrying a hamstring injury.
Wales coach Mark Hughes must now reshuffle his back-line, with Andy Melville and James Collins vying for Page's spot alongside Gabbidon.
