Kris Boyd and Derek Riordan are both thinking over a move to Cardiff.Cardiff City's move for Kilmarnock striker Kris Boyd is on hold as the player thinks over a move to Wales.
Kilmarnock have accepted a £500,000 bid from The Bluebirds for Boyd, who has been talking over a move with Dave Jones and Sam Hammam.
A medical has been passed and personal terms agreed with the 22-year-old, but he has now returned to Scotland to think over the move.
Cardiff will now have to wait to see if they have secured the capture of the Scottish marksman, but the club are not getting too flustered.
"It's maybe a big decision for a young lad and he needs to talk it over with his family," said Cardiff assistant boss Terry Burton.
With the close of the transfer window approaching, Cardiff are also sweating over the deal to sign Hibernian striker Derek Riordan.
Riordan is also taking his time to think about a move to Ninian Park, and his agent says he is 50-50 about swapping Edinburgh for Cardiff.
"I don't think he's coming down and it's 50-50 because he doesn't want to rush such a big move," said Riordan's agent Jim McArthur.
